Accompanist

Welcome to our new Accompanist!

Leah Zumberge has been playing piano for over 30 years in a variety of ways. She grew up playing piano and organ in Church, and continues today to lead church choir, hand bells, and accompany both from the piano and organ at First Presbyterian Church of Idaho Falls.

​Leah holds a B.A. in Music and a Masters in Music from University of California Santa Cruz. Additionally, Leah has taught piano students of all ages, levels, and styles for 20+ years, from beginners through advanced level.

As a soloist, Mrs. Zumberge has performed with small ensembles and larger orchestras such as performing as the lead soloist in the Tosh Piano Concerto with Ensemble Monterey in 2017.

She was the main accompanist at Cabrillo College adult Cantiamo! choir, children's choirs and others from 2009-2021. Leah has also taught Music and Performing Arts to 6th-12th grades at Mt. Madonna School, 2009-2013. Leah has also worked as a studio musician on Dimitri Tiomkin's archive.

Whether it is performing, teaching, or playing together, Leah is happy to bring her music skills and passions to the rehearsal. Leah lives in Shelley Idaho with her wonderful husband Nik and their 4 delightful children.
